Four workshops, and a number against every recommendation

The first engagement. Deliberately low-touch and low-cost, designed to establish whether technology can move your commercial numbers before anyone commits to a programme.

I — The workshops

One customer journey, four stops

We follow a customer from the first time they hear your name to the moment they renew, and stop at every point where one of them gets lost.

I

Customer identification and origination

Who you go after, and how they first hear from you.

  • Positioning and personalisation
  • Outreach automation, and how much of it is manual
  • Marketing channels and content
II

Website and conversion to MQLs

What happens to the people who actually turn up.

  • Current-state conversion rates
  • Calls to action, contact and quote forms
  • Service content and what it fails to answer
III

Sales, contracting and qualification

How a lead becomes a signed job — and how often it does not.

  • Handling of MQLs and the sales process
  • Sales workforce and tooling
  • Contracting, bid writing and comms technology
IV

Handover and account management

The revenue you already have, and whether you keep it.

  • Cross-selling and account growth
  • Referrals and contract renewal
  • Customer success and handover to operations

II — Evidence

We talk to the people who actually do it

Who we talk to

Primary
60 to 90 minutes each with the marketing, sales, operations and finance leads: pain points, current process and tooling, handover variance, and how predictable revenue actually is.
Secondary
30 to 60 minutes with the marketing team, sales executives, customer success and account managers: where the leakage really happens, and the win/loss reasoning on both new business and renewals.

Systems we review

Lead capture
Ads, website quote capture, call tracking — what gets caught and what falls through.
CRM
Pipeline, forecasting and pricing.
Quoting & bids
Document generation, e-signature, RFP response and follow-up.
Client comms
Response times, ownership, and what happens out of hours.
Ops & jobs
ERP, job and capacity management, resourcing, and the friction between sold and delivered.
Invoicing
Xero, Sage, Stripe and the gap between work done and cash in.

III — The shape of it

Two weeks, start to playback

WorkstreamMTWTFMTWTF
Workshops
Interviews
System reviews
Follow-ups
Write-up & playback

Indicative. Longer for multi-site businesses; the playback is scheduled in person wherever it can be.

IV — What you get

A business case, not a lecture

Written report

Structure
Follows the journey: origination, website, sales, account management.
Diagnosis
At each stage, the frictions costing you clients and revenue — named, and evidenced from your own people and systems.
Options
The technology that remediates each one: speed and automation of reply, conversion work, quoting, bid support, renewal prompts.
Numbers
Estimated uplift against each recommendation, compiled into a business case. Accuracy depends on the data you can give us, and we say so plainly.

Highlights presentation

Length
Six to ten slides. The findings that matter, not the whole report reformatted.
Next steps
What to move into detailed planning or early implementation, and what to leave alone for now.
Roadmap
Indicative sequence with costings and delivery timelines where we can commit to them.
Playback
Delivered in person where possible, with a follow-up booked before we leave.

What we need from you. Read access to the systems above, twelve months of enquiry and win/loss data in whatever state it exists, and an hour of someone's time to point us at the right people. If any of that is missing, we record it as a finding rather than stopping.

V — Questions

How long does the engagement take?

Two weeks for most businesses. Week one is workshops, interviews and system reviews; week two is follow-ups, the write-up and the playback. Three weeks where there are multiple sites or trading entities.

Who from our side needs to be involved?

Your commercial, operations and finance leads for sixty to ninety minutes each, and a handful of the team doing the work for thirty to sixty minutes. Someone who can grant read access to the systems.

What if our data is a mess?

That is a finding, not a blocker. We record what could not be measured and say so plainly in the report, because knowing you cannot currently see your win rate is itself worth knowing.

Is this an AI project?

Only where AI is the right answer. Several of the highest-value recommendations in a typical engagement are a faster reply, a better form and a working CRM field. We say so when that is the case.

Book the call that decides whether this is worth it

Thirty minutes, no deck. We will tell you on the call whether we think there is enough in your commercial process to justify the engagement.
