Outreach that does not scale
Professional, personalised approaches happen when someone senior finds the time. There is no system underneath it, so volume is capped by one person's diary.

Two weeks. Four workshops. A costed business case for the technology that plugs the gaps between an enquiry and a paid invoice.

Definition
curae is a commercial AI practice for established businesses in physical industries — waste management, construction, plant and vehicle hire, facilities, logistics. A two-week engagement walks your commercial journey from first contact to renewal, finds where enquiries and revenue are being lost, and produces a costed business case for the technology that recovers them. Then the same team builds it. curae is a joint venture between Aegis and cure8ai.
I — The problem
The UK is full of established firms in physical industries that have spent decades getting genuinely good at what they do — and have never been shown how to use modern technology to win new business. The vendors and systems integrators who could help are priced for companies ten times the size.
Professional, personalised approaches happen when someone senior finds the time. There is no system underneath it, so volume is capped by one person's diary.
Traffic arrives and leaves. No clear call to action, no capture of the detail a quote actually needs, and no idea which channel produced the enquiry that turned into work.
An enquiry waits two days for a reply. Quotes are rebuilt from scratch each time. Bids go out late. The business never sees the ones it lost and never learns why.
II — What we do
A deliberately low-touch, low-cost first engagement. Small enough for an owner to approve in a meeting, specific enough to act on the week it lands.
III — Who it's for
Waste management, construction and trades, plant and vehicle hire, facilities, maintenance, logistics. Decades of operational competence, a website nobody has touched since 2017, and quoting held together by one person who knows the prices.
A second or third generation that can see the commercial process is leaking but has no internal technology function to hand it to, and no appetite for a six-figure systems integrator.
Early post-acquisition value creation. A repeatable commercial scan across the portfolio on one methodology, so the assets compare like with like and the value-creation plan has evidence under it.
IV — Who we are
Aegis brings the commercial diagnosis — transformation programmes at FTSE scale and private equity value creation. cure8ai brings the build: the websites, tools and AI systems that turn a recommendation into something running on Monday.
V — Questions
Week one is four workshops with your leadership, interviews with the people doing the work, and a review of the systems your commercial process runs on. Week two is follow-ups, the write-up, and a playback session with a report and a short presentation. Two to three weeks in total for larger businesses.
Roughly two to three hours from each of your commercial, operations and finance leads, half an hour to an hour from a handful of the team, and access to the systems. We work around the operation rather than stopping it.
A fixed fee, quoted to the size of the business before we start. It is deliberately priced as a first engagement rather than a major programme — the point is to find out whether there is anything worth doing, at a price an owner can approve without a board paper.
It is specifically for you. The engagement assumes no internal technology function, no data team and no appetite for a two-year transformation. Everything recommended is something a business your size can actually run.
No. The report is written so any competent partner could deliver it, and it names the trade-offs rather than routing everything back to us. Most clients do use us, because the people who found the problem build the fix faster.
Yes. Where client records, drawings or pricing cannot leave your premises, models can run on hardware you own and control, air-gapped if required, through our sister practice AIOD.

A short call first, then a fixed quote. If the honest answer is that your commercial process is fine and the technology would not pay for itself, that is the answer you will get — in writing.
